The Ditch Witch FX20 is suited for municipal projects such as cleaning out valve boxes, debris cleanup and landscaping, exposing utility lines, posthole digging, and many other relatively small, short-run projects. Municipal workers, utility departments and landscaping crews are some of the skid-mounted FX20’s biggest users. The unit offers many of the capabilities of larger vacuum excavation systems, but in a small package that can be transported in the back of a pickup truck, on a flatbed, or on a small trailer. A 27-horsepower (20.1 kW) Kohler gas engine provides power. Visit the EKA Inc. (Stone Mountain, Ga.) booth at the GSA Expo for more information.
