New 12-volt dc gear motor (Model No. MMP-TM55-12V GPk52-046) develops 46-in.-lb. torque at 100 rpm. Accepts any 12-volt dc source, including battery power, and requires only 7.2 amps to generate full-load torque. Measures 2.14 ins. in diameter and 7.2 ins. long, and offers keyed output shaft of 12-mm diameter by 25 mm long. Mounts with four face-mount M5 threaded holes. Boasts long-life battery charge, quiet operation and lower cost-drive electronics. Motor windings for 24, 36, 48 and 90 volts also are available. Rated at IP 54 protection level for operation in harsh environments. Applications include battery-powered electric vehicles, unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) and military robotics.
