Brent Kincaid
Galson Laboratories recently hired Brent Kincaid, CIH, as monitoring solutions manager. In his new role, Kincaid is managing two major initiatives for the firm: the Wizard, which is a Web-based tool that clients use to develop an air-sampling plan, and the “Galson Instructional Video Series,” which provides step-by-step instructions on topics relevant to clients.
“Brent will develop, expand and control our knowledge database of exposure hazards and methods that will ensure that the Wizard is an invaluable resource to our clients,” said company President Joe Unangst, “and his extensive industrial hygiene experience will ensure our 60-video library will be accurate and helpful.”
Kincaid previously worked for several major firms in industrial health and safety functions, including General Electric and Union Carbide. He is a graduate of Fairmont State College in Fairmont, W.Va., and holds a Bachelor of Science in occupational health/industrial hygiene.
East Syracuse, N.Y.-based Galson Laboratories provides industrial hygiene analysis and monitoring services.
Kevin Kasmiskie
LDPI Lighting, a manufacturer of lighting products for hazardous locations, harsh environments and general industrial and commercial applications, has announced the addition of Kevin Kasmiskie as regional sales manager. In his new capacity, Kasmiskie will work with independent lighting representatives and OEM partners to market the firm’s products in the North Central and Northeastern United States.
Kasmiskie has more than 30 years of experience in sales and management for lighting industry manufacturers and distributors. He graduated from Carroll College in Waukesha, Wis., with a bachelor’s degree. He has been an active member of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America for more than 25 years.
LDPI specializes in illuminating areas where special circumstances exist, including explosive, hazardous, corrosive and wet/damp environments. The company is based in Eau Claire, Wis.
Dave Henderson
Topcon Positioning Systems, based in Livermore, Calif., has named Dave Henderson as its new GIS national sales manager. Henderson is responsible for GIS sales activities for the firm’s GIS dealer network in the United States and Canada.
Prior to joining Topcon, Henderson was the director of geospatial solutions at Midwest Architects & Engineers Supply Inc. (Midwest A&E), a Topcon distributor for Texas and Oklahoma. He was responsible for sales of GIS hardware, software and GPS networks. Henderson worked for Topcon America Corp. as a regional manager prior to joining Midwest A&E.
Topcon is a developer and manufacturer of positioning equipment, including GPS, GIS, laser, agriculture, optical surveying and machine control products, as well as software.
Zach Hudgins
Zach Hudgins has been appointed national sales manager for the Watts Plumbing & Heating Wholesale Division of North Andover, Mass.-based Watts Water Technologies.
Hudgins has spent nearly 15 years in the plumbing and heating, waterworks, fire and irrigation industries. He most recently held the position of southeastern regional sales manager for the Watts Plumbing and Heating Wholesale Division, covering nine states and Puerto Rico. Prior to joining Watts, Hudgins worked as a manufacturer’s representative for nearly a decade, covering the states of Georgia and Alabama.
Hudgins will continue to be based in Atlanta.
Nicholas Bronsted
Waukesha, Wis.-based Wildeck, a manufacturer of mezzanines, material lifts and safety guarding products, has appointed Nicholas Bronsted to the position of installation manager for its North American operations.
To support the company’s growth, Bronsted will work with Wildeck dealers and integrators to manage and coordinate the installation of Wildeck products.
Bronsted is experienced in customer service, scheduling, warehouse and delivery operations, shipping and receiving, and customer support administration. He is completing a Bachelor of Arts degree at Lakeland College/Kellett School of Management in Sheboygan, Wis.
Wildeck products are used throughout distribution centers, warehouses, manufacturing operations and back-room storage facilities for the safe and efficient handling, storage and movement of materials. Wildeck is a subsidiary of Holden Industries.
