GITA calls for infrastructure solutions presentations
The Aurora, Colo.-based Geospatial Information & Technology Association (GITA) is calling for presentations for its 2009 Geospatial Infrastructure Solutions Conference, scheduled for April 19-22 at the Tampa, Fla., Convention Center. This year GITA has relaxed its previous requirement that potential speakers at the convention submit eight-page papers.
Speakers will be required to submit a biography, a two- to four-page executive summary of their presentation and a computer-generated presentation. Full papers are still encouraged, and attendees of GITA's past conference have said that published papers are highly valuable for their detailed content.
Visit www.gita.org/gis by Aug. 4 to submit an abstract of the proposed presentation, along with three learning objectives and the vertical market segment at which the presentation is aimed.
