National League of Cities Congress of Cities and Exposition

Every year, the National League of Cities puts on its congress of cities and exposition, with Austin, Texas hosting it this year. The theme for this year's gathering is "The Future of Cities." Participants can choose from 15 university seminars to build their technical and leadership skills, 16 mobile workshops around Austin to study collaborative solutions to issues facing local governments and conference workshop sessions spanning topics like economic development, sustainability, demographics, transportion and the impact of climate change.

In addition to educational sessions, 400 vendors will be on hand in the exposition hall to introduce participants to new products and networking events will give participants the chance to build relationships with other municipal leaders and share ideas.
