The Tucson, Ariz., Police Department launched an education campaign last month to remind drivers to yield the right of way to emergency vehicles. The Tucson, Ariz., Police Department launched an education campaign last month to remind drivers to yield the right of way to emergency vehicles. The “Move to the Right for Sirens and Lights” campaign includes public service announcements in English and Spanish that will air on radio and television stations. The Police Department will follow up the campaign by ticketing motorists who fail to yield, a traffic violation that can carry a fine of up to $268.
