The Milwaukee-based Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has published a 24-page safety manual for using walk-behind and ride-on concrete power trowels. “The AEM Concrete Power Trowel Safety Manual” includes information about safe transportation, operation and maintenance of concrete power trowels. The book covers safe loading and unloading, start-up and shut-down, precautions against carbon monoxide poisoning in enclosed areas, and operating on an elevated deck.
