To reduce surplus paint, last month Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Earth 911, PSI and the Washington-based National Paint and Coatings Association launched the Paint Wise Web portal that helps consumers calculate the amount of paint they need and gives instruction on storage methods and donation, recycling and disposal options.
