President Obama's 2010-2011 budget cuts funding for some local government-supported programs, according to an analysis from the Washington-based National Association of Counties (NACo). However, it includes funding for several federal programs that benefit the nation's counties, NACo says.

$3.8 trillion is the total amount of the proposed budget.

$25 billion would go to counties and states through the enhanced Federal Medical Assistance Percentage for Medicaid and Foster Care IV-payments.

$3.99 billion would go to the Community and Development Block Grant formula program.

$280 million would go to local and regional economic development through the Department of Agriculture's proposed Rural Innovation Initiative.
