SewerCAD V8 XM Edition includes features to help engineers evaluate sewer capacity, size pipes, select pumps and identify the locations of potential overflows. The software includes advanced thematic mapping and improved utilities for converting and integrating data from CAD,and other data stores. Using the software, modelers can automatically design gravity piping and structures by specifying elements, from a single pipe size to the entire system, and entering the design restrictions, including minimum and maximum velocities, covers and slopes; pipe and manhole matching offsets; and allow or disallow drop structures. The software determines cost-effective pipe sizes and inverted elevations, eliminating pipe trench excavation.
The IFC 100 signal converter can measure electrode resistance to indicate gas bubbles and solid particles, and electrode noise to determine chemical resistance. Coil resistance also can be monitored for magnetic field quality and flowmeter temperature. Designed for use with the company's Optiflux electromagnetic flow sensors, the unit features a 0.3% measuring accuracy. It can be mounted directly on a flow tube in two configurations. It can be installed horizontally with a 45°-angled display. A flat-mounted version can be used with vertical pipe installations. A wall- or pipe-mounted converter can be mounted apart from the flow tube. It can be rotated in 90° increments. Available with a rugged metal enclosure, the unit features a large, backlit display and push-button soft keypad, and various user languages.

Water level loggers
HOBO data loggers are pressure-based water level recording devices that measure with an accuracy of 0.05% of full-scale over the fully calibrated temperature range, and up to 0.005-foot resolution. A variety of models cover depth ranges from 13 — 250 ft. To analyze and plot water level data, the company offers a graphing and analysis software package. The loggers offload data to a PC or Mac computer using a USB-based optical interface.
Plates prepared with m-ColiBlue24 Broth simultaneously detect and identify total coliforms and Escherichia coli (E. coli). Complete enumeration is accomplished in only 24 hours. No confirmation step is required, nor are fluorescent lamps or color comparators. Users can see E. coli colonies in blue, and other coliforms are red. Total coliforms are the sum of the two. The ready-to-use media eliminates measuring, mixing, and autoclaving steps necessary to prepare dehydrated media. The method has been approved by thefor monitoring drinking water and wastewater and can be used to detect coliforms in other types of water, such as bottled, surface, ground, well and recreational (fresh or marine).

The Arlock tipper system is manufactured for rear loader collection vehicles. Rear loaders can latch onto commercial dumpsters and tip, dump and release in a single motion. The unit's latching system locks onto both sides of a dumpster's trunions. While the latching arms pull up on the trunions, a kick bar pivots upward, which empties the dumpster. When the tailgate plate extends upward, it eliminates the gap between the tailgate and dumpster, preventing refuse from escaping. Available on the company's Phoenix rear loaders, the unit also can be retrofitted to other rear load vehicles.

The Mega Blaster PRO sonic repeller is designed to keep birds away from large outdoor spaces, such as landfills, up to 30 acres.?It broadcasts intermittent distress calls and predator cries that frighten the infesting birds and cause them to leave the area. The unit is pre-recorded in four configurations for the most common infestations: "Agricultural," "Marine," "Crow / Raven" and "Woodpecker." The sounds can be customized by volume setting, programming "silent time" between sound bursts and hours of operation. The unit has two high-output amplifiers that drive a specially designed 20-speaker tower with a frequency range of 2,000 — 10,000Hz (up to 125 decibels). The unit has a 40-watt solar panel to help power a 12v DC battery. The generating unit can be mounted to a post or pole using the included mounting hardware and bracket.

The P-333 e-Scrap bulk container is rotationally molded in a single piece of 100% polyethylene to withstand the weight, sharp corners and unwieldy shapes of scrap computer hardware and accessories without cracking, chipping or warping. It is fitted with enclosed fork tubes set atop industrial strength casters so e-scrap organizations can collect, cover and transport thewithout transferring it to a separate container for shipping. The container can be forklifted, rotated and dumped completely upside down over a roll-off or trailer to consolidate larger volumes for transport and shipping. When empty, the container may be rolled back into place for collection or into storage. A choice of 16 standard colors and optional custom colors and permanent, molded-in lettering, logos and tracking numbers are available.

TerraGo Mobile delivers interactive maps and images in geo-enabled PDF format directly to personnel in the field. Compatible with Windows Mobile 5 and 6 operating systems, the application allows non-GIS experts to add photos, video, audio, comments and completed forms to maps and images directly from their mobile devices. The information can then be shared with other mobile or desktop users and e-mailed back to the GIS department. The software incorporates GPS technology and integrates KML (Google Earth) files. It requires 128 MB RAM and 64 MB free device storage space.
Fleet routing software
Built on the company's ArcGIS platform, ArcLogistics 9.3 is designed to help governments build efficient routes and schedules for their. Dispatchers can create strict time windows and assign orders to vehicles based on the optimal stop sequences using actual street network drive times. Dispatchers can send the stops from the ArcLogistics desktop to ArcLogistics Navigator, an in-vehicle navigation application. Drivers then can receive door-to-door directions and quickest- or shortest-route options in their vehicles while following specific road attributes, such as turn restrictions and vehicle speeds.
E-mail Security Platform (ESP) is designed to eliminate spam and thwart viruses. The platform combines a set of low-level SMTP tests to determine the legitimacy of the sending e-mail server and Sender Address Verification, which verifies the authenticity of first-time, unsolicited senders. The appliance is compatible with any e-mail and directory server and is available in two configurations, ESP 360 for small- to medium-sized organizations, and ESP 430 for large organizations.

Crime data sharing
C.O.B.R.A. v. 4.0 is a suite of applications designed to helpagencies share real-time data with multiple jurisdictions and officers and agents in the field. Officers can use the software on their MDCs or PDAs to run names, vehicles, incidents, and entities from other jurisdictions. The software keeps each contributing agency's information segregated from all others in its own Insulated Data Silo, and each agency maintains control over its silo, including what information to share, and what different users can see. It translates and transmits data from one data source to another, regardless of the local vendors, databases, or schemas used, and it conforms to prevailing data standards, such as NIEM 2.0. Data can be pushed up-stream or "cross-stream" to systems such as the FBI N-DEx system or other data-sharing systems.
The Kenaz GPS receiver is designed specifically for the TDS Nomad and Recon handheld computers. It offers sub-meter accuracy for high-precision mapping applications. It attaches directly to the top of the handheld to preserve the Nomad's and Recon's MIL-STD-810F and IP67 ratings.
