Pavement profiling sensor
Like its predecessor (the RoLine 1110), the new Selcom High Speed RoLine 1130 sensor uses laser-line sensing to capture precise textural information on coarser roads (particularly longitudinally tined and diamond-ground surfaces); increased frame rates and higher data density now allow the later model to operate accurately at any vehicle speed. Using the manufacturer’s FireSync platform, the sensor integrates vision components such as lighting, cameras and machine-vision software into a scalable machine-vision system to synchronize input. Depending on user preference, the 1130 can output either full profile data or single-point data that represents the actual surface location.
