The National Purchasing Partners Government Division (NPPGov), a cooperative purchasing organization, has awarded a three-year construction equipment contract to John Deere. The manufacturer was the only OEM selected for the contract.

NPPGov serves public and nonprofit markets by providing access to contracts created through a request for proposal process conducted by a lead public agency.

The cooperative contract includes the manufacturer’s full line of construction equipment and commercial worksite products, and already satisfies the bid process. The cooperative agreement helps eligible organizations in the U.S. easily acquire the equipment they need.

To use the contract, organizations must be NPPGov members. The simple registration process can be done quickly, and registration is free. For registrants, there is no obligation to purchase. NPPGov members interested in procuring construction equipment from John Deere can reference contract number PS16001.

NPPGov is the government division of National Purchasing Partners (NPP), which serves as a nationwide channel to offer publicly awarded agreements to public entities.

Deere earns residual value awards from EquipmentWatch

Deere recently won four Highest Retained Value Awards from fleet data provider EquipmentWatch. The awards recognize manufacturers in 26 different heavy equipment categories across the construction, agriculture and lift/access industries for products that show the highest residual value over the last five years.

The EquipmentWatch Highest Retained Value Awards are powered by the world's largest sales transaction database of equipment valuations – it adds nearly $20 billion in equipment transactions each month across both the dealer (private) and auction (public) disposition channels. Using this data, the five most popular products in each category from the previous year are identified. Then, using the proprietary ValueTrend Engine, a custom-built values calculation platform, EquipmentWatch compares their five year estimated values, and the series with the highest cumulative estimated value retained over that time is declared the winner.
