Bill Wolpin is the Associate Publisher and Editorial Director of American City & County, Government Product News and Government Procurement magazines. Bill has judged several national magazine and engineering award competitions, and has been a speaker at the magazine industry's leading conference as well as several solid waste and government association events. His magazines have won more than 80 national, regional and state awards for excellence, including a 2001 Jesse H. Neal Award for his editorials in Waste Age, four Folio Gold Editorial Excellence Awards and a Gold Ozzie. He also was a 2005 Neal Award finalist for his editorials in American City & County.
Bill has received an employee excellence award, a CEO Award and was a finalist for employee of the year. In 2003, he was the recipient of the Lawrence Lecture award, the highest honor bestowed by the Solid Waste Association of North America. In 2006 Magazine Association of the Southeast, where he served as president and member of the executive board, selected him for its Hall of Fame.

While most journalism graduates would jump at a chance to chase down the latest story, Erin Greer ran, screaming, from the opportunity. A long-time performer and PR professional, Erin was used to making the story...not harassing it out of bureaucratic agencies, school systems and government officials. Fortunately for Erin, however, the world of news finally caught up with her and knocked her on her back.
Initially winded by the journalism tackle, Erin quickly rebounded with her first story: a profile of an Episcopalian pastor skydiving for charity. It was her second day on the job. She was hooked. Since then, Erin has written for numerous local and national publications, been published countless hundreds of times, and covered beats ranging from sports and the arts to medicine, schools and politics.
Last year, Erin conducted the interviews for the inaugural year of the Atlanta Press Club's Journalism Hall of Fame. Among the inductees were Former CNN head Tom Johnson and CNN founder and Atlanta personality Ted Turner. Erin is fascinated by and honored to present the stories of those individuals who face great obstacles and succeed despite adversity.
