The City of Shreveport, Louisiana is seeking a Deputy Director of Operational Services. This position manages all operations of Water, Wastewater, Solid Waste, Streets and Drainage, Traffic Services, Fleet Services and Building Permits and Inspections. This position is responsible for preparing and managing budgets, long and short term planning, employee supervision and implementation of policy.

The person applying for this position must have in excess of ten years public works/utilities operating and supervisory experience with at least five years supervisory responsibility for a major public works/utilities function. Business Administration, Public Administration or Civil Engineering degree preferred. Salary: $90,000+ with excellent benefit package and will be dependent upon qualifications and previous job functions.

Shreveport has a population of 200,000 and is located on the banks of the Red River in Northwest Louisiana. The City of Shreveport’s infrastructure includes a 90 MGD Water Purification Plant, a 7 MGD Wastewater Treatment Facility, a 35 MGD Wastewater Treatment Plant, a 90 MGD Water Pump Station and a Industrial/Municipal Waste Landfill.
