The Division of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources is seeking applicants for the position of Sr. Engineer. Person to manage major capital improvement and maintenance projects. Collaborate with other staff members concerning the upgrading, renovation, and maintenance of 17 plus research stations located throughout the state and with appropriate offices regarding update and project changes to campus master plan and master capital improvement list. Provides recommendations for renovation of existing buildings or construction of new facilities. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field and seven years facility design and construction experience. Working knowledge of farm systems and operations is desirable. Knowledge of facility planning concepts, a working knowledge of farm, mechanical, and electrical systems, and demonstrated skills in effective oral and written communications also required. Must be a Registered Professional Engineer in Oklahoma or be a PE in another state and that can gain registration by reciprocity. Must have a valid Oklahoma drivers license.
