Grout delivery unit adds gas model
Groutzilla mechanical grout delivery system now has a gas model. Contains all the features of the PTO model, including: patented self-wiping Talet auger system, which efficiently discharges all material and prevents binding due to various aggregate sizes; angled hopper, which promotes flow to auger and helps prevent accumulation of grout on hopper’s sidewalls; and swing-away discharge snout, which eliminates need for tools to clean system and is ergonomically designed to eliminate handling of heavy components. Gas Groutzilla system is powered by a 13-hp Honda engine with electric start. Highly efficient hydraulic system, combined with heavy-duty vibration isolation of engine, reduces vibration transfer to hopper, eliminating separation of material and keeping it flowing smoothly. System also significantly reduces heat transfer from hydraulic tank and engine via a baffled tank and a heat shield, maintaining mix quality and eliminating drying out of the material. System can be maneuvered into place with a telehandler, heavy-duty forklift or via a crane using the optional lift eye. Gas Groutzilla handles almost any slump, easily filling multiple courses of block spanning 20 ft. or more. Stone Construction Equipment Inc., Honeoye, N.Y.
