Wyoming county seeks money for roads

Drivers in Laramie County, Wyo., will have to endure rough roads for a little bit longer.

Drivers in Laramie County, Wyo., will have to endure rough roads for a little bit longer. The Wyoming Department of Transportation has postponed four major road projects there, some pushed back indefinitely, because of increasing construction costs, according to the Wyoming Tribune-Eagle. WYDOT says higher demand for construction material, caused by infrastructure-building campaigns in China and India and rebuilding after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, and the high price of oil needed to make asphalt, are the primary causes for the cost increase.
