Developers of the Potomac Yard “city-within-a-city” project in Alexandria, Va., say the streets of the project are too small to allow the city’s fire trucks to turn. They want to build a fire station in the development to solve the problem, but that would mean the city would probably have to remove some fire trucks from a station in a nearby neighborhood, an idea that is meeting with some resistance, according to the Washington Post. http://www.washingtonpost.com/
