Washington police and the Secret Service ticketed Councilman Marion Berry after he refused a urine analysis following a traffic stop. Officers who stopped Berry for supposedly running a red light say they couldn’t get an accurate reading from Berry’s breathalyzer test and so requested the urine test, according to the Washington Post. Berry, a former Washington mayor who has a history of drug-related arrests, says the breathalyzer showed he was well below the legal limit and that he was a victim of racial profiling.
