New mayor brings peace and controversy

The new mayor of Frederick, Md., has brought peace to a once-divided city council but not without some mistakes. According to the Washington Post, Mayor W. Jeff Holtzinger has, among other things, been embroiled in an ethics controversy over hiring his sister-in-law. But his supporters say political novice Holtzinger just needs time to learn the ropes.
