Last minute changes to a compromise agreement may further delay construction of a $450 million arena in Louisville, Ky. The city’s Metro Council was planning to meet at 5 p.m. Tuesday to discuss a resolution regarding the arena, but as of Monday key officials, including the mayor and Kentucky Gov. Ernie Fletcher, had not seen proposed changes to the resolution, according to The Courier-Journal. Two council members plan to change the wording to allow unions to have an oversight role in the arena’s construction, but Fletcher has said previously that giving unions a role in the project violates state law.
