Michael Baker — Albert Romano, water practice director for the Moon Township, Pa.-based engineering design company's Western Region, and Roslyn Trojan, a recent U.S. Army retiree, each have been appointed vice president of the company.

Burgess & Niple — Ronald Schultz has been elected chairman of the board of directors and CEO for the Columbus, Ohio-based engineering and architectural firm. Previously, he was director of the company's Allegheny Region.

Baltimore County, Md. — Anthony Marchione, a former school superintendent for the county, has been appointed administrative officer for the county.

MHW — Gary Erickson has joined the Pasadena, Calif.-based company as chief planning officer. Previously, he was the director of the Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence at Brooks Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

Henrico County, Va. — Assistant Director of Information Technology Steven Lewis has been appointed to director of information technology.

URS — D. Kennett Forssen has been named vice president of ports and marine services for the San Francisco-based construction management firm. Previously, Forssen was vice president of ports and airports for Bellevue, Wash.-based Entranco.
