Larimer County, Colo., officials are considering charging a fee to new homeowners to help fund the expansion of the county’s overcrowded jail. It would be the first jail impact fee in Colorado and one of only a few in the nation, according to the Denver Post. Also, on Nov. 7 residents will vote on a $75 million jail-expansion proposal.
