Chicago Mayor Richard Daley is trying to rally federal support for his city’s bid to host the 2016 Olympic Games. Daley went to Washington this week to lobby lawmakers and the White House in an effort to secure the $6.5 billion that the Olympics are expected to bring to Chicago’s economy, according to the Chicago Tribune.
