Officials in San Bernardino County, Calif., are challenging the results of two inquiries that found apparent wrong-doing in the county’s purchase of a new jail and a sale of surplus land

Officials in San Bernardino County, Calif., are challenging the results of two inquiries that found apparent wrong-doing in the county’s purchase of a new jail and a sale of surplus land. Brett Granlund, a former assemblyman and county lobbyist, was involved in both deals, but he had no comment about the investigations, according to the Los Angeles Times.
