Over 200 “victims” of a radioactive dirty bomb, many covered with fake blood or bearing index cards describing their symptoms, put Cambridge, Mass., emergency workers to the test this week. Operation Poseidon, the largest antiterrorism drill ever held in New England, was designed to search for weaknesses in the response to such a crisis by federal, state and local agencies, according to The Boston Globe. And there were problems, primarily with emergency workers who ignored the victims, sometimes leading to their fictitious deaths.
