Boise, Idaho, may be making it easier for developers to get zoning approval for mixed-use developments. Previously, the developers had to ask for piecemeal zoning changes and exceptions for projects that could include residential, commercial and other uses, according to the Idaho Statesman. A proposed change in the code will allow them to submit an overall plan instead.
