Ten communities were recognized last week for outstanding governmental accomplishments by The National Civic League. These are 2014’s All-America Cities:

Montgomery, Ala.
San Pablo, Calif.
Brush, Colo.
Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Chelsea, Mass.
Independence, Ore.

According to program materials, to win, each city must demonstrate innovation, inclusiveness, civic engagement, and cross sector collaboration in efforts to address pressing local challenges.
