Illinois counties want toll road money

Two Illinois lawmakers say they want to make sure that suburban counties get most of the money from the possible privatization of toll roads that pass through them. The two state senators are worried that too much of the $14 billion from the Illinois tollway lease would go to Chicago instead, according to the Chicago Tribune. So they are pushing legislation that would require that 66 percent of the lease price go to projects in the counties through which the tollway runs. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/custom/newsroom/chi-060515tollway,1,6254976.story?coll=chi-news-hed&ctrack=1&cset=true
