A new reference book from the University of Missouri Press, “The Constitutionalism of American States,” examines each state's constitutional history and theory. Edited by the acting head of Missouri State University's political science department, George Connor, and Christopher Hammons, associate professor of political science at Houston Baptist University, the book allows readers to analyze state constitutions in relation to one another and to the federal Constitution. Proceeds from the sale of the $74.95 book (available online at press.umsystem.edu) will be donated to the Texas Institute for Rehabilitation and Research.
